15. FEES, DEPOSITS, AND FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
15.1 Our Service is Free to Renters
Houses for Rent Fort Lauderdale FL charges renters $0 for our matching service. You will never receive a bill from us.
15.2 Agent Compensation

- Security deposits: Typically 1-2 months’ rent (refundable)
- First month’s rent: Due at lease signing

- Move-in fees: Varies by property
- HOA application fees: $100-$300 (if property is in HOA)
- Credit check fees: $25-$50 (if not included in application fee)

17. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

17.2 Binding Arbitration

- Carry errors & omissions insurance
- Provide accurate property information
- Disclose all fees upfront
- Explain HOA requirements if applicable
- Provide written lease terms before signing
- Respect fair housing laws
- Respond to reasonable communication
REMOVING AGENTS FROM NETWORK:
We may remove agents for:
- License revocation or suspension
- Fair housing violations
- Persistent user complaints
- Fraud or misrepresentation
- Failure to disclose material information
- Unprofessional conduct
However, agent removal does NOT create liability on our part for past actions.
